This fascinating tour will keep mum, dad AND the youngsters interested. No more sitting through movies you hate or turning them lose and then worrying about what they’re getting up!

The experience lasts from 10am to 3pm and each walk is tailored to the age of your children.
How many children can you bring? Bring ‘em all! Realistically, the jeep holds 8 passengers so that’s 2 adults and up to 6 children. (Most of the trails are not suitable for pushchairs or strollers.)
Lunch will be provided on the mountain and there is a toilet available.
You won’t be sharing the tour with anyone else – this is a quality experience for YOUR family.

We do offer accommodation as an extra if you want to use the area as a base whilst you explore the Waikato River Trails, the Pureora Forest Park, the Otunui Paddle boat, or Waitomo Caves to name just a few of the activities for the school holidays that are available in this area.
EXTRA: ONLY for families who take both the school holiday special AND accommodation, Guide John will light a campfire and spend an hour or two telling tales in the evening.
